B.C. Children's Hospital
As a survivor of a rare condition called tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF), I've donated a significant piece of my artwork to BC Children's Hospital. This oil painting, titled “Some Kind of Wonderful,” represents resilience and gratitude, inspired by my journey and my dad, who sang the song to me in the ICU. The painting now resides in their non-monetary donation centre, a warm and welcoming space for patients and families.
This donation is my way of honoring the medical staff who saved my life and bringing comfort and inspiration to others. My story highlights the power of art in healing and the profound impact of kindness and compassion in healthcare.
Thank you, BC Children's Hospital, for everything you've done for me and countless others. Your compassion and dedication are truly extraordinary.
